So, with an email with some of my fondest memories and a 30 minute phone call, Joanna created the most wonderful poem for Freddie. ''When I decided to get my daughter christened, I was determined to make a speech about Libbi - her quirks, her personality, her family, and mostly how much her sister and myself love her - but I also wanted it to be different from the normal speeches that you hear at functions. I approached Joanna after witnessing how brilliantly I saw one of her poems go down at a party I attended. Joanna asked me to make a list of aspects of Libbi's personality etc that I would like included in the poem. The poem that she constructed totally captured everything I wanted to say about Libbi but was unable to write myself.
When I first heard the poem I was laughing so loud that Libbi said 'be quiet mummy!', Joanna listened to my delivery of the poem and gave advice on where and how to emphasise certain key words, speed of delivery etc. On the day, the guests LOVED the poem, even laughing in the places where we expected them to. By Joanna creating this unique poem, I have so much more than photos to remember my daughter's wonderful christening day.''

"Thank you so much, Joanna, for the most wonderful speech you wrote for our son, Julian, to give at his sister Amanda’s wedding. The guests absolutely loved the speech and it brought tears to Amanda’s eyes. It was so cleverly written. I am truly baffled how, from titbits of information we gave you about Amanda and Julian while growing up, you could write in a way that made it sound you had known both of them all your life!

Then the big surprise for me came when Peter started reading his speech. For a moment I wondered why I had employed you when my husband was obviously a great poet too! It soon became clear to me that you had written his speech too and this had been kept a big secret.
